After decades of working in-person at the highest level as veterinarians to internationally renowned athletic horses the team at Gallop realized they were spending a lot of time on the phone giving free consultations to their clients. Sarah and Jonathan wanted to capitalize on this opportunity and start a telemedicine business that would allow them to serve their clients in the US and Europe.
They had the name Gallop but needed a brand that would match their vision. This was a brand that needed to fit into the modernized world of tele-health yet still maintain a high-end, refined look and feel that would resonate with their core customer base.
After exploring different concept directions through mood boarding (see the three mood boards below) the team were drawn towards the idea of a custom mark that would encompass the letter G and a horses head. Three concepts were presented (see below) which utilized a range of typography styles, and icon styles in order to represent the spectrum the brand was operating within.
The final brand utilizes a deep blue mixed with bold highlight colors. The main brand mark is an abstract horses head with the letter G hidden within the face. The mark is paired with a curved yet still traditional serif font and a sans-serif secondary font - these elements served to create a high-end, crafted, yet still bold, and modern brand mark.
The logo was packaged along with a brand style guide (see some example pages below).
