UI/UX | Web Design | Branding | Charitable Foundation
The Omnah Foundation grew out of a personal story of adoption. The founder wanted to create an organization that would help fellow adoptive families through the process of adoption, particularly through financial aide. They wanted a brand and website that showed trusting, nourishing nature of the foundation but also created trust with donors and prospective adoptive families.
The website required the ability for users to easily donate while also conveying a lot of information about the issue the foundation is trying to solve. I made use of Lottie animations to convey information in an interesting and dynamic way and coupled this with a secure and easy to use donation functionality. The website was purposefully designed to be easy to navigate and uses white space with the movement of the animations to create a simple, calming user experience that served adoptive families and busy donors well.
For the brand a rich color palette and modern fonts mix with the tree icon. The gnarled nature of the tree trunk represents the growth journey a family and child go through on the way to a successful adoption with the flourishing canopy representing the family as a whole.
